Japan 2025
I had the pleasure of bringing my three girls to Japan this last February. It was primarily a snowboarding trip to hunt for powder in Hokkiado at Rusutsu mountain. We got a day and a half in Tokyo (shibuya station area) on the way in and another day on the way out. A highlight for me was to walk the temple in that area, which a never got a change to in all the years of working in an office just up the hill from there.
Excel hotel was affordable and in the center of the Shibuya crossing. The best part is that it is also on the limousine bus line from the airport so easy transfers in and out of Narita.
Be sure to grab an amazing late at the cafe/ice cream shop near the entrance to the shrine and then head into Harijuku after for some shopping, people watching, cat cafe's and Kiddyland.
